Time to appreciate one of our tenants at Stop and Store Penticton. Joy Road Catering has been part of the Penticton community for over 10 years and they have big plans to expand! Meet the owners, Brett and Olivia! They have been working hard these past few months to bring fresh baked goods to the residents of Penticton.
Founded in 2006, Joy Road Catering laid its roots as a stall at the local Farmers Market which quickly evolved into wedding and event catering, as well as the infamous Alfresco Long Table Dining Series. From its first days at the Farmers Market to today, the mission has been to buy products responsibly and locally, and to source products at the height of their ripeness from local farmers and purveyors.
The Joy Road Catering team is led by life and business partners Brett Turner and Olivia Fobert. With a combined experience of over 20 years in the industry, Brett as a Chef and Olivia in everything else business, they look to continue the solid roots laid down by company founders Cam Smith and Dana Ewart.
Join them June through September for our Alfresco Dining Series on Sundays at Blue Bee Orchard and at rotating venues on select Thursday and Friday evenings.
Guests can expect a unique setting and a four-course plated and shared family-style meal using a multitude of local produce and suppliers. Each course will be served with the perfect wine pairing from some of our favourite wineries.
Our long table dinners feature & celebrate; local wineries, wild foraged foods, farmers, and local purveyors.
