- Make a plan – Do not go in blind. It may seem like more work, but with a plan of what you are going to store and how you are going to store it, when the day comes it will save you tons of time and prevent those costly mistakes. Some important things to know are, the size of your locker, can your things fit? Is it tall enough? Wide enough? Ask yourself these questions and make a solid self storage plan.
- Insure – Do not make the mistake of leaving the insurance up to the self storage facility. If you are storing valuable things such as electronics, you want to be sure that if something goes wrong, you are covered. Do not think this is a costly endeavour, insurance can be very cheap and well worth it.
- Have a way to move – Getting your items to a from our storage facility if your responsibility. We like many others do not offer the use of trucks. Make sure that you can get your things to us come moving day, and that you have the right vehicle when you want to retrieve your items.
